Lime dosing system

The TAMA AERNOVA lime dosing system is designed in response to critical issues arised from the treatment of fumes contaminated by acid gases, oils and unburned particles. Thanks to the insufflation of calcium hydroxide, a basic and inert element, it is possible to limit phenomena such as oxidation and corrosion of the metal parts of the filter, vitrification of the filtering elements, development of fire or potentially explosive atmospheres.

Designed specifically for the filtration field, it can be applied to any filter, even on existing systems.

How it works

The lime powder can be loaded from the upper cover of the hopper at any time during the machine's operation, without the need to stop it, and is kept in optimal granulometric condition by means of a fluidized bed and an interval-operated compressed air vibrator.

The lime quantity is measured thanks to two peristaltic valves, managed by PLC.

The lime blowing can be carried out directly inside the filtration chamber or on the filter inlet suction pipe.
