Horizontal Pocket Filter TA
The pocket filter designed and developed by Tama Aernova is a dry filtration system used to purify the air from suspended solid particles. The horizontal pocket filter TA consist of modular units that allows to meet every possible need in terms of the required air flow, as well as for any space constraints. The modularity of the filters TA develops horizontally or vertically, starting from the basic module of 2,000 m3 / h up to 48,000 m3 / h in the standard versions and beyond in those on request. The units are built in bent, bolted and painted sheet metal. Moreover, they are equipped with flanges for easy connection to suction ducts, eyebolts in the upper part for suspended positioning and sturdy support bases for floor positioning. The units of this type can be used both individually and as pre-filtration of electrostatic filters and activated carbon, and as post-filtration of cyclone filters.
Advantages
The installation of this pocket filter makes it possible to treat a wide range of pollutants and guarantees the quality of the air in the production environment and the protection of those who work there.
The pocket filter is characterized by good sturdiness, low pressure drop, high efficiency and economy, characteristics that make it suitable for use in various filtration systems, with low operating costs.
How it works
The flue gases and the pollutants present in it are conveyed to the filtering pockets passing from the outside to the inside, depositing the impurities outside the filtering elements. The pockets can be protected upstream by the arrival of the coarser particles with one or more pre-filtration sections and completed downstream with one or more active carbon post-filtration sections or with HEPA absolute filters. The pocket filter TA was designed to work in low pressure areas. The polluted air, after passing through the pre-filter where larger pollutants are deposited, enters the pocket filter composed of a series of individual deep pockets, kept mechanically apart from each other. The considerable surface resulting from the development of all the fabric reduces the frontal speed of the filter obtaining very low real crossing values. This peculiarity allows the filter to ensure very high separation values. In the models with the addition of the activated carbon section ("CA"), the air passes another filtration stage by absorbing the activated carbon.
The TA model can be configured in four different types:
- Basic configuration: metallic prefilter, pocket filter in glass microfiber;
- "M" configuration: as a basic configuration with, in addition, a section containing the suction unit (fan) with its electric motor;
- "CA" configuration: as a basic configuration with, in addition, a section containing activated carbon cartridges; each module is composed of 9 carbon cartridges of (about) 3 kg each.
- “CA M” configuration: as a basic configuration with, in addition, two sections containing, the first, activated carbon cartridges, the second, the suction unit (fan) with the relative electric motor.
