Idromix
The wet dust collector Idromix is a wet filtration system used to purify air from suspended solid particles. Its installation guarantees the air quality of the production environment and the protection of those who work. It is suitable for the suction of dust deriving from smoothing and grinding operations.
How it works
The primary element of abatement and purification is water, through which the dusty air is mixed. The centrifugal force generates the separation of the heavier particles (sludge) that settle in the collection tank. The special "droplet separator" separates the air coming out of any droplets of water carried by the purified air. The water level is regulated by a minimum electrical probe which, when it detects a low water level, automatically replenishes bringing the water to an optimal level, regulated by a maximum electrical probe.
Advantages
Water consumption is minimized as only the part that evaporates during the process must be replenished. Special inspection doors allow easy maintenance both of the filter bottom, where residual sludge can accumulate, and of the airlock. The electrical panel manages the pressure difference between the dirty air area and the clean air area with minimum and maximum alarms. The minimum alarm signals the need to fill up the water in the filter in order to avoid the increase in dust emission. The maximum alarm signals instead the excessive clogging of the airlock due to residues and incrustations.
